All three votes passed unanimously at the second community meeting on 22 May 2026. The Society comes into effect on 20 July 2026. Leeds First Friday continues as usual — no changes to the event.

Watch ↗Leeds First Friday is the UK's largest trans+ social. We've been running monthly since 2007. In LGBTQ+ event terms, practically ancient.
We welcome thousands of trans people each year. Some have been coming for years; some are walking through a door like this for the very first time. People travel from Brighton, London, Glasgow, occasionally from the US or Europe. A real, public space to be yourself, with people who get it.
Run by a team of volunteers, in partnership with local safety organisations.
